The question thus becomes, "how do we break out of this mess?" The first step has to be to realize we are in it. The second is to identify the beliefs and behavioral patterns that have us stuck, both individually and collectively. The third is to begin changing yourself. When you change the world changes. Granted, you can give workshops and write articles. But, ultimately, you have to be the change you seek.
This is the place where you surrender everything. Yet, in that surrender, there is infinite potential.
The hardest part is to recognize that in surrender, we are not losing anything; rather we are gaining everything we are constantly seeking. It's a paradox, and yet, it is truth.
